We just wrote down the answers to the stuff you’re going to ask … so you don’t even have to ask.
Our workshops cater to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced dancers. Each session is tailored to the participants’ needs, allowing you to ask questions and receive personalized guidance. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your technique, you’ll find the workshop both challenging and rewarding.
Yes, all of our instructors are highly qualified and experienced in country dance. They are professional country dancers with years of teaching experience and a deep understanding of various dance styles. Their goal is to ensure you leave the workshop with new skills, increased confidence, and a deeper love for country dance.
No two events will be the same! The content of each workshop is designed to focus on the needs of the participants. This means the direction of the class will vary depending on what attendees need most. Expect to work on everything from foundational moves to advanced techniques, with plenty of time for questions, practice, and personalized feedback.
As the size of each workshop varies wildly depending on the size of the local community, we will announce the venue a minimum of 4 weeks before the date of each event. We wait to select a venue based on the number of expected attendees to ensure we have the appropriate size dance floor. This allows us to provide the best possible experience for all participants. Keep an eye on our website or subscribe to our newsletter for the latest updates.
We limit the number of participants in each workshop to ensure that everyone receives ample personal attention. The smaller group size allows our instructors to provide individualized feedback and hands-on assistance, making sure you get the most out of your experience.
We want you to have a great time and will do our very best to make sure everyone gets a change to dance by providing mixers and encouraging partner rotation. On the other hand, we can’t require anyone to switch partners if they don’t want to. As with any dance class, there could potentially be more leaders or followers on any given day.
If your schedule changes, no worries! If you let us know at least one week before the workshop, we’ll give you a credit that you can use for any future event. Plus, if you can’t make it at all, you’re welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else at any time. Unfortunately, we don’t offer refunds, but with these flexible options, you’ve got plenty of ways to still make the most of your ticket!
For the workshop, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows for movement. Proper dance shoes are essential to help you move safely and effectively. If there’s anything specific you need to bring, we’ll notify you in advance of the workshop.
