2S: Core Concepts

If you’ve ever watched a couple Two Stepping and thought, “How the heck are they doing all that?” — this video is gonna blow your mind… in the best way. Anthony and Rose show how nearly everything in Two Step boils down to just three basic actions: rhythmical walking, turning her one and a half times to the right, and turning her one and a half times to the left. That’s it. No complicated memorization. No endless list of patterns. Just those three moves, done in different ways, with different hand changes. This is the foundation of their entire Two Step system. You’ll also learn what they call “The Three Assumptions” — the default things every follower should expect unless the leader specifically changes them: direction, rhythm, and degree of turn. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or confused by other lessons you’ve taken in the past, this is the one that’ll hit reset and make Two Step actually make sense. It’s all about simplifying, not stacking more patterns on top. Once you get this framework, everything else becomes easier, smoother, and a whole lot more fun.
