Salsa: The Basic Step
Learn how to salsa dance from the very beginning. In this first lesson, we break down the salsa basic step, the rhythm and timing, leader and follower footwork, and the basic dance hold so you can start dancing with a partner. If you’ve never danced salsa before, start here. We’re assuming you know absolutely nothing and building from the ground up, one short lesson at a time. In this video you’ll learn how to count salsa, how the leader and follower move through the basic step, how small your steps should be, and how to get into a comfortable dance hold.
