The X Dance Cruise is a dance-themed cruise organized in partnership with X Dance and PUMP. It offers workshops, social dancing, and other fun activities on board a Royal Caribbean cruise ship, specifically the Harmony of the Seas.
The first step is to book the X Dance Xperience portion of the X Dance Cruise online through this website. Then, we will contact you to book your cabin. Please note that to participate in the X Dance events on board, you must book the cruise as part of our group. There will be no exceptions. This group booking is how we are able to provide the exclusive X Dance events.
A passport is the best form of identification for international travel. However, U.S. citizens can also board the X Dance Cruise with a valid government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license) and an original or official U.S. birth certificate. It’s important to ensure all travel documents are valid and meet the cruise line’s requirements. The X Dance Cruise offers over 12 workshops over 3 sea days in various dance styles, including country swing, two-step, line dance, and West Coast swing, among others. The workshops are led by accomplished instructors from across the US who have expertise in multiple dance styles. Yes, the workshops on the X Dance Cruise offer something for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out.
Yes, you can bring your family on the X Dance Cruise. Royal Caribbean offers activities and services for all age groups, including supervised youth programs for kids. However, please note that while families can participate in onboard activities and excursions, dance socials, and workshops are typically geared towards adults. If you are bringing kids, there will be an additional fee for the cabin, and you should indicate this in the comments section at checkout so that the organizers can contact you to make the necessary arrangements.
The X Dance Cruise offers an all-inclusive experience that includes unlimited meals and snacks, games, an onboard waterpark, musicals and productions, X Dance workshops, X Dance socials, X Dance Xperience, and various other onboard activities. Prices vary based on cabin type and occupancy. The Xperience package costs $376, or $497 for the VIP option, in addition to the amount paid directly to Royal Caribbean. Cruise prices start at $799 per person for double occupancy and include taxes and port fees. Single occupancy is available upon request; please contact us for details. Please note that gratuities are not included in the price and will be an additional cost.
To secure your booking for the X Dance Cruise, you will first need to register for the X Dance Xperience. Once you purchase the X Dance Xperience, a Royal Caribbean representative will contact you to complete the cruise booking. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required for Royal Caribbean. The remaining balance for the cruise will be due by November 11, 2024.
You should pack comfortable and casual clothing for the day and dressier attire for the evening. Be sure to also bring sunscreen, swimwear, and any necessary medications. Don’t forget to pack your favorite going out ‘fits’ and boots for dancehall and theme nights.
Guests are allowed to bring a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages in cans or cartons such as sparkling water, sodas, energy drinks, juice, and milk. This must be in the guest’s carry-on luggage and is limited to a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12-ounces/354-ml each per person. Guests may also bring one 750-ml bottle of sealed/unopened wine or champagne per person during embarkation day only. However, glass or plastic bottles of non-alcoholic beverages and any other alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited in both carry-on and checked luggage. Any confiscated items will be discarded without compensation. Guests on back-to-back cruises are allowed to bring the same quantity of beverages per cruise, with the additional quantities stored for safekeeping until the following cruise.
The X Dance Cruise does not have a strict dress code, but some events may have suggested attire such as dancehall and theme nights. Be sure to check the itinerary and pack accordingly.
Gratuities may be included in the price of the X Dance Cruise, but it is always best to check with Royal Caribbean to confirm. If gratuities are not included, they will typically be added to your onboard account automatically.
The social dancing events on the X Dance Cruise will have music selected by the DJs or organizers. However, we will do our best to accommodate song requests.
The X Dance Cruise has two components. The X Dance Xperience is non-refundable at any time. The cruise itself follows Royal Caribbean’s cancellation policy, which may vary based on factors such as the length of the cruise and how far in advance you cancel.
